Somatic Integrity Education

   Somatic Integrity Education is an innovative approach to learning, teaching, and educating.

     Through current, well-established research, years of personal investigation and experience, I have developed a comprehensive educational framework which fosters intelligence in people, families, organizations and businesses.  This approach elucidates and accelerates our biological need to metabolize and digest information at many physiological levels.  Digesting life experience in its myriad of forms includes working with cognition, sensation, context, relationships, and more.  Research from neuroscience reveals that the brain is formed in early childhood through relational interaction and sensational experience.  These earliest experiences set up a template for a multitude of ways of relating to the world.  These ways are psychological, educational, social and are embodied.  Learning is essentially an embodied relational process; relational to how we are within ourselves, to each other, and to the world. 

Designing Embodied Learning to reinforce a future of well being

    Adding context and design to this notion creates a new story through which knowledge can be metabolized and contextualized, thus supporting maturation and ultimately powerful and relevant learning.  The misconception of our era is that learning is content based, yet content is now infinite and fully available via the internet.  The memorization of content and processes is vital, yet ignores the other 90% of our intelligent systems.  Our Somatic life is filled with potential just waiting for us to tune in and develop our skills.  This can be taught and drawn out through  Somatic Integrity Education.  My work is best understood through conversation, classes, and interaction.  I welcome you to email me, join my newsletter, and stay tuned in to phone conference opportunities.  Currently I am teaching as adjunct professor at Western Washington University and teach to private groups and organizations.  Check out my curriculum vitae for some of my past work.
